Working with community associations involves interaction with members, association directors, attorneys, accountants, and other service and product providers. For managers. this requires the development of people skills to help them deal with personalities, stresses and demands which arise during the course of everyday operations.
In this course, managers will learn:
• how to tailor problem-solving skills to different personalities and approaches to life
• constructive approaches to handling telephone conversations and in-person confrontations
• the dynamics of interactions having the potential to become adversarial and learn skills necessary to affect behavior and resolve issues in a way that creates satisfaction in the consumer
• specific tips for working with all kinds of challenging people and ways to bring out the best in themselves and others

Locating the Parking Garage:
When heading East on Broward Boulevard make a left onto Andrews Avenue and then a quick right onto Northeast 1st Street. The parking garage will be on your left.
From US1 (Federal Highway):
When heading West on Broward Boulevard make a right onto Andrews Avenue and then a quick right onto Northeast 1st Street. The parking garage will be on your left.
Entering the Parking Garage:
You will see the first entrance on your left that leads into the Meter Parking Area. DO NOT USE THAT ENTRANCE. Instead, proceed to the next entrance on the left which is a ramp and has a sign titled: “Public Parking” above it. This ramp will take you to the “1st Level” of the non-meter parking area. You will then go up another ramp to the “2nd Level”; park here. The Walkway leading to the building is located on the west side of the 2nd Level.
Entering the Building:
Take the walkway into the building towards the Lobby Elevator and take the elevator to the 18th Floor to the reception area. The Receptionist will provide you with parking validation stickers when you leave.
